Who We Are Basically just a couple of fun-loving people that really enjoy wine. We are not sommeliers, but we feel that we have enough to offer to make this site worth your time. Hopefully after reading a couple of articles you'll agree. How We First Got Into Wine Like many, it all started with a glass of White Zinfandel and went from there. The more we drank, the more we fell in love with it and wanted more. And that attitude continues today. Sound familiar? Why We Built This Site As much as we enjoy drinking wine, we love sharing our knowledge and helping fellow wine lovers and enthusiasts expand their horizons, discover new varietals and understand all of the interesting aspects of wine. And, just as important to us is the fact that the sites currently out there are too stuffy and written like course materials; we want SS&S to offer a wealth of information a fun and approachable manner. Our Favorite Wines Although we want SS&S to be impartial and we plan on writing articles on all wines, we'd be lying if we said we didn't have favorites. Our favorite reds are Pinot Noir Enough about us... Here's more on SS&SAdding New Articles We can't offer a set timetable for new content, but we will try to add at least one article every week with the ambition to do more. At the top of every section, you'll see an article count and the date of the last addition. Plus, we label every new and updated article with a small graphic to help call them out. Suggest a Topic Did you come to the site looking for something specific that we haven't covered yet? Please fire us an email and we'll do our best to write an article on it. Join Our Email List When we have a big enough list of readers, we're planning on sending out monthly emails to update everyone on new articles and anything else going on with SS&S. And we will not share your information with anyone. Sound good? Then sign up today! Future Plans We are definitely planning on adding some features to the site. One feature we like is the ability for the readers to grade every article. And as the number of articles increases, we'll be looking at adding some sort of search option.
